「いきものがかり」 IKIMONO GAKARI

My brother traveled to Laos since last week.

Anyways, he and I are not that close. Situation were bad back then but gradually getting better.

Borrowing things without telling is definitely prohibited. I'm sure he'd be mad if he'd found out I took his CD while he's on his trip :)   

He left a few things home, including his new CD Ikimono Gakari. 

So you can imagine why am I writing about his Ikimono Gakari :) 

I couldn't help it. They're great band. Thus, this is another new discovery. I still have yet to write about RADWIMPS and Uverworld later on. 

Ikimono Gakari is a Japanese pop rock band that debuted in 1998. They record on Sony Music Entertainment Japan's Epic Records label.

 

The band was formed in Kanagawa Prefecture in February 1999 by Hotaka Yamashita and Yoshiki Mizuno, and was later joined by lead vocalist Kiyoe Yoshioka in December the same year. Ikimono-gakari (生き物係) refers to a group of children who are responsible for looking after plants and animals in Japanese elementary schools. [wikipedia]
